Condition
An important vase, with professionally executed restorations. A 26cm. long hairline glaze line running from the middle of the neck vertically down the body; restorations to the lower section of the body which appears to have been broken, just below the band of blue decoration, into three sections; there is light glaze crazing to the interior and exterior in particular around the band of the pâte-sur-pâte decoration. Nonetheless an impressive piece, ready for display. Due to the restoration the estimate has been reduced to £7.000-10.000.
