burr elm, ebonised oak, ebony stringing and brass
Condition
An appealing piece in unrestored condition. Patina is dry and would benefit from a polish. Minor seperation to the joints in places but structurally sound. Drawers slightly ill-fitting. Old marks, knocks and scratches overall, consistent with age. 5cm section of moulding lacking to lower edge at rear, not visible from the front. Small section of moulding lacking to the lower right edge of the lower left drawer. Small crack to edge of one frawer front. Small natural crack (c.5cm long) to each side. An honest piece in unrestored condition which would benefit from some cosmetic attention.
