  • Three Glass Vessels
  • Diameter 3 1/4 in. Heights 5 and 4 1/2 in.
comprising an opaque white cup of hemispherical form with splayed foot, an olive green ribbon glass bottle decorated with festoons, and an olive green ribbon glass bottle decorated with swirling.

Provenance

acquired in Switzerland, England, or Japan, the first in 1977, the second in 1975, the third in 1978 (probably at Christie's, London)

Condition

the white bowl very good and intact, surface slightly worn, traces of iridescence on the rim; the larger bottle quite weathered, chips on top of the inside rim, a hairline crack and very small hole on one side of the body; the smaller bottle very weathered, repair and restoration on the neck.
