- Five Greek Antiquities
- 12 1/2 , 7 1/2 , 7, 11 1/8 , and 3 5/8 in. 31.7, 19, 17.8, 28.3, and 9.3 cm.
comprising a terracotta protome of a goddess, circa late 5th/early 4th Century B.C., her hands lifted to her breasts, and wearing a chiton and peplos, her centrally parted wavy hair surmounted by a flaring polos, a Campanian red-figured fish plate, attributed to the Robinson Painter, circa 350-330 B.C., painted with a torpedo and two breams, a wave pattern on the overhanging rim, a black-glazed fish plate with reserved band above the rim, a Gnathia-ware pelike, circa late 4th century B.C., painted with a profile head a woman facing left and wearing a sakkos between scrolling flowering tendrils, egg-and-dot bands above and below, and a Gnathia-ware mug attributed to the Laurel Spray Group, probably by the Amphorae Painter, circa 330-320 B.C., with double handle tied in a Herakles knot, the body painted with a head of Nike flanked by rosettes.

the protome: repaired and with areas of restoration, heavily encrusted; the pelike: foot reattached and chipped, the body intact, surface encrusted in areas, especially in the decorated area, added white on the face worn, paint on rim abraded; decorated fish-plate:good, intact, much of the paint in the rim area above one fish worn away (visible in photo); black fish-plate: intact, some small chips to the glaze retouched, abrasions on the rim and underneath; mug: areas of restoration on the rim, otherwise good, paint worn in the wings area.
