  • An Egyptian Chalice Fragment with Bes
  • 2 1/2 by 1 6/8 in. 6.3 by 4.4 cm.
decorated in relief with a figure of Bes holding papyrus stems next to another figure, a narrow nilotic band below with fish swimming to right and a leafy plant, a papyrus flower in the lower register.
