- i: graphite on taped sheets of bond paper
ii: ink and Dr. Martin's aniline dye on Strathmore paper - i: 13 1/2 by 10 3/4 in. 34.3 by 27.3 cm.

Condition
i: This work is in fair condition. The sheet is soiled and there is evidence of wear particularly at the edges. The tape adhering the three constituent sheets has yellowed with age. There is a tear along the right edge located approximately 5 in. from the top edge. There is another tear located 2 ½ in. from the top, along the seam of the two sheets. There are three pinpoint tears along the left bottom edge. There is a circular accretion located 1 ½ in. from the right edge and 4 in. from the bottom edge. There is a 1 in. accretion in the lower, left-most corner, scattered tears and a small area of paper loss along the left edge. There is an accretion located 3 in. from the left edge and 5 ½ in. from the bottom edge. This work is intermittently hinged to an acid-free mat verso and is framed under Plexiglas in a wood frame.
ii: This work is in good condition overall. There is a soft rippling to the sheet resulting from the mounting process. There is a discoloration or evidence of possible water damage in the upper tier of the composition along the upper edge. There is some evidence of wear along the edges and scattered accretions to the sheet. The sheet is affixed intermittently along the top and lateral sides verso and is floating under Plexiglas in a wood frame.
