The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is an extremely light layer of dust adhering to the cloth throughout. There is a minute fly spot to the edge of the figure's right ear. There is a pinhead-sized media accretion to the top of the figure's left hand, and a few further tiny pale isolated media accretions to the figure's face. On close examination, there are a few extremely fine short unobtrusive rub marks to the tip of the figure's nose, to each of his hands, and to his left ear.
