Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is canvas draw in the lower left and right corners. There are two extremely light drip marks running down parallel to the lower part of the left extreme edge. There is some light surface dirt around the edges of the work, in particular in the top left corner. Upon close inspection, there are a few extremely fine and stable surface cracks in the upper centre of the work and in a few further isolated places elsewhere. There is a pin prick-sized fly spot 17cm. beneath the top left corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
