Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is warmer and richer with higher saturation to all of the colours and with the background tending more towards pale cream in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. It is hinged to the backing board in all four corners. There is undulation to the paper collage, original to the work's execution. There are two light media accretions: one to the top left hand corner and one between the word 'OF' and the red spot in the first row. There is a minute handling crease to the tip of the top left hand corner. There is a further handling crease to the bottom left hand corner, one to the dark blue spot in the third row, one to the blue spot in the second row beneath the letter D, one towards the brown spot in the fourth row, and one towards the third spot from the end of the sixth row. There is some minor paper skinning between the fifth spot from the end of the second and third rows.
