Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is laid down on a piece of card which is in turn hinged to the backing board along the top edge. There are artist's pin holes in all four corners. There is very minor wear and slight discolouration to the extreme outer edges of the sheet, hidden beneath the mount. The extreme right hand corner tip is missing and there is a further minute loss towards the top right hand corner on the top extreme edge. There appears to be a diagonal tear running down from the centre of the top edge. There is a further short tear to the right side of the top edge, and another short tear beneath the centre of the right extreme edge, both are hidden beneath the mount. All the tears have been stabilised by the laying down of the sheet. There is a minute media accretion left of the signature.
