Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the illustration fails to convey the true metalic quality of the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Some light oxidisation and tarnish have occurred in a few scattered places to the sculpture. The work would benefit from a light professional polish.

Catalogue Note
"I can say that every morning I go to my studio and I start working, that I can say, but I cannot say that I go to my studio, sit at my desk and start working on a sculpture whose identity is clear to me. I always find myself facing a mysterious object, and at first I waste time trying to pin it down... I don't know... If I start by thinking I will make a drawing, I end up making a sculpture, if I want to make a sculpture, I inevitably end up making a drawing..."( The artist cited in: Fausto Melotti, Segno, Musica e Poesia, Milan 2000, p. 13)
