Condition

Colour: (i) The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, with the red tending more towards a reddy brown and the bright pink of the legs tending more towards a flesh pink in the original. (ii) The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality of the background is brighter and more vibrant, and the brown of the figure is deeper and richer in the original. Condition: Both works are in very good condition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light. (i) There is very light wear to the top right hand corner and a further extremely small spot of wear to the extreme bottom right hand corner. There is a fine diagonal rub mark approximately 8cm. long running up from the right side of the bottom edge. There is a very light and small media accretion towards the centre of the extreme right hand edge. (ii) There is very light wear to the top left and bottom two corners and a further extremely light area of wear to the top of the extreme right hand edge.
