Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and with deeper flesh tones in the original Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is light wear to the inner corners of the frame. Close inspection under raking light reveals several extremely faint surface scratches. A minute imperfection to the print is visible above the centre of the woman's head.
