Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the background tends more towards cream in the original and the blue text tends more towards denim blue. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Upon very close inspection there are very fine tension cracks intermittently along all four extreme edges. There is a very faint finger mark to the top edge 15 cm. in from the upper left corner and another 5 cm. below the upper left corner tip. There are some minute dark specks scattered around the area of the text which would appear to be inherent to the artist's choice of medium and the coarseness of the canvas. There is minor wear to the corner tips of the canvas, a tiny rub mark to the lower right corner and a faint diagonal rub mark 10 cm. to the left of this. All of the above are unobtrusive and are only visible upon close inspection in raking light. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
