Condition
The figures seem to have been leaning in to another object, possibly a cabinet, given the presence of two old large repaired areas on the proper right side of Apollo and Diana's proper left side. These areas consist of a metal plate covered with a resin to blend in with the bronze. There are some losses to the resin of Diana. Both figures were cast in sections; a joint is slightly visible at the proper right arm of Apolla and joints and a screw are visible at both figures' cloaks. Apollo has a nick to the drapery at the back of his neck and has two small holes to his side due to original sprues falling out. Diana has some small spats of pigment to the surface. Otherwise the condition of both figures is very good with some minor wear and dirt to the surface.
