Literature

Condition
Good general condition. There are some old marks, stains, some scuffing, minor scratches and tears to the leather top consistent with age and use. Old scratches to the moulded edge of the top. The leather top appears to be original and has a rather finely tooled border. The piece is attractively faded throughout. Some characteristic shrinkage around the moulded top. Some minor losses to carving. This was used as a desk at Carlton Towers and exhibits the kind of wear one would expect attached from use.
