Sir Charles Henry Tempest, 1st Bt. (1834 - 1894), thence by descent to Ethel Mary Tempest (1869 - 1937) who married Miles Stapleton, 10th Lord Beaumont (1850 - 1895) thence by descent.

Overall the condition of the marble is good. There is dirt and some minor wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few minor, naturally occurring, inclusions visible on the surface including at the forehead. There is plaster restoration at the joint of the socle and the bust.
