Description

  • 136cm. high; 4ft. 5½in.
of ovoid form, the cover surmounted with white shishi finials, each decorated in black, red and gold lacquer with alternating panels of deer and exotic birds, restorations

Condition

These have been restored and there is visible evidence of this restoration. There is rubbing and losses to the painted decoration especially the gilding. They are stable but gallery inspection is recommended for these very decorative pieces.
