Description
Ink and gouache on paper, 10 lines of text in 4 columns written in nasta'liq script in black ink, double intercolumnar rules in gold, the painting depicting Majnun sitting on a knoll under a tree and surrounded by animals, the reverse with 25 lines of text ruled in blue and gold
Condition
In fairly good overall condition, margins have been cropped, small loss at the bottom left edge of the leaf, slight rubbing to the upper text portion, as viewed.
