Text: surat al-an'am (VI), part of verse 37 - part of verse 40
Arabic manuscript on paper, 5 lines to the page written in elegant muhaqqaq script in black ink outlined in gold, diacritics and vowel points also in black ink outlined in gold, 3 illuminated circular verse markers comprising geometric knots within dotted borders outlined in blue, margins ruled in red, gold and blue

Condition

In fair overall condition, some creases and rubbing, slight re-inking to some letters, verso with some damage and associated repair to bottom left corner and top right-hand quadrant, ink strong and bold, original outer margins, as viewed.
