Condition
Generally good overall condition. The bronze surfaces have an overall attractive reddish-brown and green patina. Some wax residue and light surface scratches to the bobeche that are consistent with age and light use. The uppermost favrile glass orb which accepts the bobeche has a crack which extends 1 1/2 inch up the side, changes direction and arcs back to the base of the orb. There is a small chip loss at the highest point of the crack and some visible glue residue which would indicate that this piece may have been out and repaired. The opposite side of this glass orb has an internal crack that rises one inch upward from the base of the orb. Four of the favrile glass "pearls" to the base have internal cracks which are not overtly visible upon casual inspection. One of these favrile "pearls" has been cleverly replaced with an iridescent resin orb.
