Condition
Good overall condition. The shade with approximately 12 to 15 cracked tiles scattered throughout. With surface soiling to the shade, particularly in the recessed contours of the decorative bronze overlays, which would benefit from a sensitive cleaning. The bronze elements of the shade and the majority of the leading retain a rich brown patina. The aperture ring and the lower rim of the shade have a later application of gold paint. The finial and the base we also applied with a layer of gold paint. The underside of the base reveals its original gilded surface. The sockets have been replaced and the lamp is currently wired for European use. The shade color presents overall less amber and more of a pleasing golden range when viewed in person.
