François-Louis Schmied, illustrateur et graveur reconnu, collabore notamment à la réalisation du Livre de la Jungle. Entre 1934 et 1935 il effectue plusieurs séjours au Maroc, au cours desquels il réalise une série de peintures à la détrempe, dont fait partie notre tableau.
Condition
Très bon état général.
Petite pliure en haut à gauche. Rien n'apparaît après examen à la lampe de Wood. N'a pas été décadré.

Tiny fold of the paper at the upper left-hand corner. Nothing appears with the blue light. Hasn't been unframed.
