Condition
The artist's board seems to be in good original condition.
There are small spots of retouching which can be seen when looking carefully. These appear to be in Caulfield's hand. There are some minor specks of surface matter but otherwise the paint surface appears to be in good overall condition.
Under ultra-violet light, the spots of retouching fluoresce.
Held under glass in a simple wooden rectilinear frame.
