Condition

The work is on wove paper which has not been laid down. The sheet undulates very slightly across the surface. The right and lower edges are uneven. There is a small area of blue wash in the lower left corner. Held under glass and presented within a cream mount in a simple rectilinear frame. Catalogue Note

This drawing is page no.2 from the Parchment Notebook, 1975, previously known as Notebook 1. This notebook was "originally bound in a parchment cover bearing the dedication 'MARY' and a listing of Renaissance artists, some with dates. There is no record of the number of pages; those drawn were signed in 1984 and the notebook taken apart in 1985."
