of fluted campana form with foliate scroll borders, engraved on both sides with arms and supporters, the reeded loop handles springing from leafy terminals and centered by a corkscrew, detachable silver collars and plated liners
Provenance
The arms are those of Fitzroy with Waldegrave in pretence for George Henry, 4th Duke of Grafton (1760-1844) and his wife Charlotte Maria, 2nd daughter and co-heir of James Waldegrave, 2nd Baron Waldegrave.

The title "Duke of Grafton" was bestowed by Charles II on Henry Fitzroy, his second son by his mistress the Duchess of Cleveland. The 4th Duke was a close friend of William Pitt the Younger. The family seat is Euston Hall, Suffolk.
