  • the clock movement signed Vincenti & Cie. Medaille d'argent 1855
  • height 28 3/4 in. by width 20 1/2 in.
  • 73 by 52 cm
in 17th century style, the six-drawer cabinet veneered in ebony and tortoiseshell, closed by two doors between crystal columns, the tabernacle-form upper part enclosing a clock dial flanked by ivory figures and surmounted by a silver drapery canopy, all highlighted by turquoises and colored pastes

Condition

some small sections of ebony molding missing, one demi-column loose on upper section; clock movement missing pendulum, minor cracking and distressing to veneers, generally good condition, impressive size and nice detailing
