Condition

Set on a stepped wood base with extensive scratches and wear to edges; the figure is cast in two parts, and as a result one can see the join as wide as a 1/4 inch to the back of the sitter; some minor cracks to the bronze can be seen behind her proper left hip due to casting defects; the bronze figure with a rough surface possibly the result of sun damage to the patina and casting quality; the figure is dirty; repair visible to the proper left arm at elbow and with traces of old adhesive to the proper left forearm; headband previously fitted with small chains or jewels, now lacking.
