each painted with a female portrait reserved on a lustrous ground one titled  Daphne and another Duchesse of Devonshire, pseudo shield marks in blue.

Condition

Daphne: there is an approximate 2 1/2-in. restored are to the foot, probably covering a large break or an area of chipping; some occasional minor small patches of scratching to the ground. Duchesse: several very minor small spots of rubbing to the gilding; otherwise generally good condition. Untitled: there is a large patch of scratching to the ground on the neck above the portrait; otherwise generally good condition.
