Condition

The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered areas of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, partially obscured by a heavy, even varnish. Apart from areas of retouching to some repaired tears at the upper right and upper left corners, and scattered surface dirt, this work is in good condition. Held in a decorative, bronze-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
