Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered small spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the upper quarter and lower left quadrant of the canvas. Apart from some light stretcher marks to the upper and left edges, this work is in very good condition, with delicate colours and detail and areas of strong impasto, and ready to hang. Held in a muted copper-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
