Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to a small repair at the temple of the figure. Apart from frame rubbing to the extreme edges of the canvas, this work is in very good condition, with rich colours and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
