Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably a spot to the centre of the right side, and flecks to the sky. Apart from scattered pinholes, notably to the upper left corner and the upper right edge, some yellowing of the varnish and some fine craquelure with a few flecks of paint loss, notably to the lower left corner, this work is in good condition. Held in a decorative, wide, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
