Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered areas of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably along the extreme upper edge and centre of the left edge. Apart from scattered minor repairs, some scattered paint shrinkage and a stretcher mark running vertically from the centre, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and a strong surface. Held in a simple, gold and cream-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
