Catalogue Note

Painted between 1825-30 according to Dr Andreas Stolzenburg, who suggests that the present oil may be the work exhibited by Catel at the Real Museo in Naples in 1826 as Interno di casa pescatori. It relates closely to the similar view by Catel of circa 1822-23 in the Thorvaldsens Museum,  Copenhagen.

To be included in the Catel catalogue raisonné being prepared by Andreas Stolzenburg.
