Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered minor flecks of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the upper left corner, centre of the right edge and to the lower quarter of the composition. Apart from a repair to the upper right corner and some scattered craquelure and yellowed varnish, this work is in very good condition, with bright colours and fine detail. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
