Condition
Apart from some minor bowing to the centres of the upper and lower edges, the panel is in good condition, flat and even. There are a few scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, partially obscured by a varnish. Apart from scattered areas of very fine craquelure, this work is in good condition, with bright colours and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a cream velvet slip and a name plate.
