Condition
Apart from some very slight bowing to the centre of the lower edge (concave), the panel is in good condition, flat and even. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the upper right corner and to the left of the lower edge. Apart from some scattered very minor scratches along the upper edge, and two small spots of craquelure to the centre, this work is in very good condition, with a strong surface and rich tones. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
