Condition

Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under a varnish. Apart from a discoloured varnish, some scattered surface dirt, some light frame rubbing, notably along the extreme right edge, and a small tear to the canvas at the lower right (approx. 2cm.), this work is in very good condition, with a strong surface and rich colours. Held in a decorative, muted gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
