Condition
The panel is in good condition, flat and even. There are a few flecks of very minor retouching visible under ultraviolet light and a heavy varnish, notably near the girl's wrist and the vase. Apart from a few spots of paint loss from frame rubbing to the lower left edge and along the lower edge, this work is in very good condition, with rich colours and fine detail. Held in a decorative, muted gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
