Condition
Original canvas, strip-lined along the edges. There are scattered spots of retouching, notably to the sky, near the banner, and to the edges of the canvas. Apart from a few scattered pinhead-sized flecks of paint loss, notably next to the signature, at the upper extreme right edge, and to a convex dent to the upper centre, this work is in very good condition, with fresh, bright colours and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
