Condition

The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered flecks of retouching visible under ultraviolet light and under a varnish, notably next to the grapes on the left, to the upper left of the composition (approx. 2cm.) and to the upper left corner. Apart from some scattered pinhead-sized flecks, notably to the lower left quadrant, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and fine detail. Held in a decorative, bronze-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
