opening to two lidded compartments. Together with a George III inlaid mahogany caddy opening to two lidded compartments and a 19th century Indian mother-of-pearl-inlaid calamander veneered writing box. 3 pieces.
Condition
The tortoiseshell tea caddy with some very minor chips to the edges with some patches and infilling, some slight sun fading to the panels, the mahogany tea caddy with some small chips to edges and corners, the interior with some lifting and losses to the lead linings, the writing box with some minor shrinkage cracks to the top, the writing surface lacking leather-lining and now with tape, overall each with some old marks, scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use.
