the upright beveled mirror plate within gilt leaf-tip carved moldings and a conforming veneered tigered walnut frame, the outer gilt gesso border carved with strap-work and flower heads, the swan neck pediment with carved gilt gesso moldings and pendant foliate sprays issuing from flower heads and with a central platform supporting an eagle with outstretched wings perched on a sphere, and with a shaped apron.
