Description

the highly figured rectangular top with two flaps and with a broad band of amboyna within calamander cross banded edges, the front with two amboyna banded drawers, the reverse with two false drawers, the end standards with double ring turned uprights supports joined by a turned stretcher and enclosing crossed gilt-brass arrows, the rectangular end supports with molded curved brackets and supported on gadrooned toes.

Condition

Overall restored condition, the top with some age cracks and some minor rippling, some minor chips, patches and minor inpainting to veneers, overall with some old marks, scratches and bruises consistent with age and use.
