the upper part with a flat stepped and molded cornice above two paneled doors each with two polychrome painted panels, the larger depicting respectively a village scene with a cottage and a maid with flowers and a young man with a bagpipe, and a similar scene with a lady and a man dancing, above oval panels depicting a lady with an anchor personifying Hope and a lady with scales depicting Justice, above an extended base with a drawer fitted with a baize-lined slide above a cupboard fitted with sliding trays, the two paneled doors similarly decorated, both depicting rural scenes with amorous couples, supported on splayed bracket feet.

Condition
The upper section with some repaired chips to molded edges, the back with chalked inscription Dudley over the number 37 and with white chalked inscription LOT 108, the lower section with repaired breaks to right cupboard door at hinges, water stain to right side panel, later baize-lined slide, the painted panels with some cracquelure and some minor losses and scratches, overall with some old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises.
