Description

  • 25cm. high; 9½in.
3-inch silvered dial with central alarm disc above a day dial with seven planetary signs, the rear with subsidiary strike indication and twenty-four hour dial, the iron movement with posted frame, verge and balance wheel escapement with hogs bristle regulation, fusees to the striking and going trains, alarm and striking on the replaced top mounted bell, the rectangular case with reeded baluster and mask corner pilasters, the four panels chased with strapwork and scrolls, with conforming flared base, with some alterations and replacements

Condition

Prospective Buyers Should Inspect. Case and dials in good condition, bell and bell stand replaced, hands probably replaced. Movement very polished and cleaned, escapement replaced and some other wheelwork appears to have been replaced.
