- A coral, gilt copper and mother of pearl devotional plaque
mounted on lapis lazuli in a tortoiseshell glazed frame
Condition
Overall the condition of the plaque is excellent. There is some minor wear consistent with age. Some of the parts of coral and mother of pearl have minor losses and some are slightly loose, colour differences indicate there may be a few replacements. The bottom left piece of lapis lazuli is cracked. The tortoiseshell frame has some minor chips at the joints and a larger loss at the underside, centrally on the right side there is a repair.
