Description
- circa 21.5cm. high; 8½in.
comprising six soldiers and two musicians, each figure on a rouge griotte marble plinth
Condition
Generally in good overall condition. The gilt-bronze has some surface dirt and is worn in places. Two of the soldiers hold long staffs, both the staffs are bent. Two soldiers hold pistols, one pistol is missing its barrel. Four of the marble bases are in very good overall condition. The drummer's base has some chips to the edge. The figure holding the broken pistol has a large chip to the bottom corner of its plinth. The figure with the intact pistol has some chips and loose sections to the top of its marble plinth. Overall good condition and very decorative.
