Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, wear and discoloration to patina consistent with age and use. Minor dents and nicks in places to surface. Slight traces of dirt.

Denys Puech studied with Jouffroy, Chapu and Falguière before debuting at the Salon in 1875. He served as the director of the Villa Medicis in Rome from 1921 to 1933.
